The Base Power Learning Series
The Base Power Learning Community* invites you to watch a learning webinar series many months in the making. Take a look below to delve deeply into how to build base power at multi-entity organizations—501(c)(3)s and (c)(4)s.
Base-building work touches every department and aspect of an organization’s work. Multi-entity organizations (organizations that operate 501c3, c4, and other legal entities together to build power for their communities) face unique and complex challenges engaging and managing members across legal entities.
Because of this complexity, effective base-building strategy requires a holistic approach and support that integrates the advice and best practices from different perspectives of organizational development and field. Learn from members of our Base Power Learning Community, which has studied the latest and most effective strategies for base-building across multiple legal entities.
*The Base Power Learning Community is jointly sponsored by The Capacity Shop and NLA and brings together progressive intermediaries and leaders to learn, document innovation, and create resources for multi-entity organizations building membership across their legal entities. Learning Community partners include Progressive Multiplier, The Center for Empowered Politics, The Capacity Shop, Alliance for Justice’s Bolder Advocacy program, The Movement Tech Help Desk, U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives, Information Ecology, New Left Accelerator, and various progressive power-building organizations and independent consultants.
